'Afterschool project'

The long running NAB After School Project is for local young people between ages 11 & 16 who are enthusiastic about bicycles.

Running every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 4pm – 6pm whether it is a simple puncture repair or fully customising a bike there is free access to tools, equipment, parts and of course our fully qualified tutor.

We offer instruction on designing and producing stickers as well as custom resprays (in the summer months). We have colour-coded work stations with all the tools needed displayed clearly to hand and in some cases we offer complete ‘from scratch’ builds and custom wheel building.

Consent forms must be filled out by parent of guardian prior to attendance. There are clear guidelines regarding behaviour. Workshop rules and max numbers of attendees are subject to change due to the pandemic.

The After School Group is currently funded by BBC Children in Need.
